چکیده
Aquatic macrophytes are a key group in flooded areas due to their high primary productivity, and several species present the Amazonian floodplains have potential for human food use. This study evaluated biomass production nutrient levels fronds of Ceratopteris pteridoides (Pteridaceae), under following nutritional treatments: (T1) artesian well water, (T2) natural lake (T3) water with nutritive solution. Each replicate had 25 plants g total fresh each. The experiment lasted 35 days weight, root system length, leaf dry weight sprout number were assessed. from T3 greatest increase an average 430.02 g, showing that solution used provided best conditions plant growth. daily ingestion C. could contribute mineral supplementation, addition diversifying existing crops contributing sustainable agriculture.

Feasibility of cattle urine as nutrient medium for the microalgal biomass production
Thenutrient medium used for the cultivation of microalgae adds more cost to its value-added product as well as the commercial scale application. Therefore in this study, focused feasibility of cattle urine as a cheap source of nutrients for microalgal growth, because, it contains various minerals and economical which may support the growth of microalgae and reduce the medium cost. To check this...

One of the promising avenues for biomass processing is the use of water as a reaction medium for wet or aquatic biomass. This review focuses on the hydrothermal catalytic production of fuels and chemicals from aquatic biomass. Two different regimes for conversion of aquatic biomass in hydrothermal conditions are discussed in detail. The first is hydrothermal liquefaction, and the second is hydr...
متن کاملAquatic macrophyte diversity of the Pantanal wetland and upper basin.
This is a short review of the state of the art concerning diversity of aquatic macrophytes and the main aquatic vegetation types in the Brazilian Pantanal wetland and upper watershed. There are ca. 280 species of aquatic macrophytes on the Pantanal floodplain, with scarce endemism. On the upper watershed, Cerrado wetlands (veredas) and limestone springs have a distinct flora from the Pantanal, ...
